This week the kids had VBS at our church. Not only was it a blessing for the kids but Gerry and I was able to spend some much needed time together too. We were actually able to go out to eat without hearing mom, mom,mom or I don't like it here can we go to McDonalds? I really don't like going to those places but only do it for the kids lol. But just to let everyone know we DID NOT go to any McDonalds or Burger King thank God. The kids had a lot of fun at VBS and came home very tire. These pictures are from thier last night at VBS, they sang all the songs they learned. As you will see Tara totally enjoyed singing but Andre didn't. So needless to say he just stood there. But the good news is Andre wasn't the only one not singing. Afterwards the church had hot dogs and cake and sat off fireworks.
First and foremost I love the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoy doing Bible studies. I love learning everything I can about the Bible. I have been married to a wonderful man, Gerry, for 19 years. Without him I wouldn't have lived in different states and met amazing friends and I would not have traveled the world. He is an amazing man and can't thank him enough for everything he has done for our family. I am very thankful I can be a stay at home mom to two beautiful children. Andre is 11 heading in the 5th grade. He is in Boy Scouts and loves being outside, climbing anything that will give me a heart attack lol. We adopted Andre from Russia when he turned one. And my sweet little Tara is 5 and a little fire ball. She love's her brother so much and follows him where ever he goes. She is also adopted but from China. She was 10 months old when we got her. The area we went to get her is Hunan and they call their girls spicy and I can tell you Tara is SPICY! lol My family keeps me on my toes and I'm sure there will be a day when I will miss all the mess and all their fights but for now I do try to enjoy ever special moment we have.
